CinnaTropin® is a brand name for recombinant growth hormone (somatropin). Each pre-filled pen contains 5 or 10 mg of somatropin in a ready-to-use solution. The pack includes one sterile pre-filled pen and a patient information sheet.

For whom is cinnatropin 10 mg inappropriate?

CinnaTropin® should not be used if

How should CinnaTropin® be stored?

• Kids shouldn’t get their hands on CinnaTropin®.
• If the solution is hazy, leaky, or contains particles, do not use it.
• Prior to using your first CinnaTropin® pen, keep your brand-new, unused pen in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F).
• – CinnaTropin® should not be frozen.
• CinnaTropin® should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
• CinnaTropin® should not be used in temperatures more than 25°C (77°F) or after it has been frozen.
• CinnaTropin® should not be used past the expiration date shown on the pen and carton.
• If the medication is still present after using CinnaTropin® pens:
• Remaining CinnaTropin® should be used within 4 weeks and kept in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F)  or Store remaining CinnaTropin^® at room temperature no warmer than 25°C (77°F) and use within 3 weeks.
